okay. here's like an update on the first week of school as a final year student.
it's like.. whoaaa..
i've been so overwhelmed by the events and classes and projects and all.
and a concert. SAF Central Band: James Barnes.
WOOHOO. Fantasy Variations was excellent! and Phoenix was nice too. Especially the Daydream movement. i loved it.. i somehow felt dreamy too. i didnt realise it was the movement while they were playing. but it was excellent. Afterall, it's James Barnes conducting his own music. so i guess there's all the originality in whatever the players played.
for ONE, i was
COMPLETELY blown off by ZhongQing's playing. it was like WHOAAAAAAAA. and i cant describe it with a better word! well. of course i meant WHOAAAA on a positive note, without doubt. Aik Kee's solo was like WHOAAAAAA too. haha.
okay.. before i blabber on about the concert, i just have to tell the world that acting and directing is like a whole lot of fun!! and i really really enjoyed the course on thursday so much. i feel so bad for not attendin media law tutorial. but i was in school!! just that i had to rest cos i was feeling giddy after the long bus ride and my head seemed jammed. lol. okay. acting and directing was like so different from what i expected. i knew that i was really conscious of myself. i expected that i would be too conscious.. but surprisingly.. i managed to feel the part. i didnt laugh or smile, at least! haha. okay i look forward to acting and directing.. really!!
next, print journ is exciting. I'm with tribune. and i guess i'd really much rather work with Tribune. for one, i notice that my newswriting grade was a lot better than my feature writing. i dont have a flare for writing flowery language and using loads of adjectives. i like my language simple and understandable. i think many people know that. i have to admit though, my vocabulary list isnt long. or maybe not up to standard. that's what i feel. haha. but it's okay. everyday i learn new things! esp with the band pple, where i learn more hokkien and mandarin and weird languages. =D "unglam" as it sounds to some people, i actually enjoy it!
writing for tribune is going to take up a bulk of my time this week. and i dont think i'd be able to get excused from class on 10th. tho there is an excuse letter. dont ask me why. i'm quite excited to write for tribune.. cos i'm covering the cca - clubs and societies beat. i've been trying to find out what sorta scoops i can get. i hope i have one already.. hahaha.. so Print journ class on friday was fun..
after class i went to the clubhouse, after which i proceeded to holland V to meet merrill and Ferene. i like ferene. she's sweeeet. =D
the journey on the bus was crappy. the journey on merrill's car was crappy. during the concert.. the crappy person beside me was crappy. when going home, the crappy person beside me was crappy again. lol. but it's always so much fun.. every time i'm with that crappy person, he makes me feel all crappy and we'd just try to beat each other at being crappy. like how crappy is that?? we laugh at the crappiest jokes, and when we dont even need to talk to know what each other is laughing at, that's the ultimate funny. i mean it really happened quite a number of times, till it got merrill REALLY puzzled. he was prolly thinking we were being kids la.. but it was so funny la what we were laughing at. hahahaha.. eh crappy person if u happen to read this entry.. i think you should know what i'm talking abt. haha the "slang" hahahahahahahaha

hmmm. the past two days were funny. me, peee, shin, trombonists.
LAUGHING WAR. it was really rather
SCARY the way we laughed. peee had to keep walking out. we all had tummyaches. and ya. darryl HOR didnt know that we were laughing at him. (= smart dude.
Stepping Stone. was. fun. fun. fun.
a lot of pple there.. that's where i met pple i admire. like.. Yang. cool dude. much older than me kinda thing. interesting to meet figures like these. i hope to see more of him in church.. and his brother and sister-in-law. cooool pple. well i only mentioned yang cos i only spoke to him. he was the only candid one who made the effort to introduce himself. that's good. and no i'm not shy.. not after i warm up, that is. and if we can clique. i dont see a need to be shy. i think Yang knows how "unshy" i am by now. haha. mom's friends should know too. i think it was a pleasure meeting all these adults.. i can get a lot of advice from these contacts man. on what i can do after i graduate as well.
okay. i'm sleepy.. i'll continue. when i have the time. from tmr onwards. it's gonna be hectic. and i had to lose my ezlink card at such a time.. i'm damn pissed off.
